Microsoft to Pay me to use its new Edge browser

Microsoft to Pay me to use its new Edge browser

Almost 75% of Windows 10 users are not using the new operating system's default Edge browser. So Microsoft is now paying them to make the switch (Great News).

Microsoft Rewards announced it as a rebranding of Bing Rewards, which gave people points for using Bing as their search engine. The new program so far only available in the US offers points for using Edge and Bing as well as shopping at the Microsoft store.

Points can be traded in for vouchers or credits to places like Amazon, Starbucks, Skype and the ad-free version of Outlook.com.

What to do to avail this: Just you have to set Microsoft's Bing as your default search engine.

Microsoft once ruled the browser game with Internet Explorer. Microsoft launched Edge has only a global market share of about 5 percent. Over the last decade it has seen a significant decline in its usage as alternatives especially Google's Chrome and Mozilla's Firefox.

Google Chrome to Block Adobe Flash

Google Chrome to Block Adobe Flash:

Flash was an integral part of the internet in past years but it has also been a drag on performance and the source of a great many security vulnerabilities. HTML5 is a better way to get the same sort of interactive content running on the web, and it works on mobile devices. Adobe Flash’s decease starts next month when Google Chrome begins blocking all Flash content.
This will come as part of the Chrome 53 update, which should be available in early September. Chrome 53 will block all the small, non-visible Flash elements on web pages.

What to do now?

While Flash content will be blocked in general Google is making a temporary exception for some popular sites that still rely heavily upon Flash. Those include Facebook, Twitch, and Yahoo, among others. You’ll be prompted to enable Flash on these sites when loading them you will have the option to enable Flash objects on a page if they are necessary for the experience. If non-visible Flash objects are blocked, an icon in the address bar will alert you but Google plans to phase out the Flash whitelist over time. When Chrome 55 comes out in December HTML5 will become the default experience.

Google says that all Chrome users will see a benefit from this move. All the Flash objects loading in the background can make page loading sluggish. If you’re on a laptop, Flash also gobbles up power and reduces your battery life. Flash’s innate inefficiency is why it never took off on mobile devices.

Everyone Is Blocking Flash not just Google

It’s not just Google on a war with Flash plug-in Firefox 48 also announced all Flash being blocked by default in 2017. Microsoft is also cutting off Flash. In the Windows 10 anniversary update, Edge uses click-to-play for non-essential Flash elements.

Another year or two and we’ll be all done with this slow Flash.

iPhone 7 Design: No Headphone Jack! Dual Cameras and More

Design

In recent years, Apple has alternated annually between major design changes and minor upgrades. That's expected to change in 2016. Perhaps the most dramatic change still in play would be the addition of a rumored third "Pro" model. According to multiple sources, Apple's portfolio, which was already extended to include the new in March 2016, may soon include an iPhone 7, an iPhone 7 Plus -- and an iPhone 7 Pro.But recent rumors have suggested that Apple will probably stick with only two models.
The other big change involves the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
If true and it is! Apple could bundle new Lightning-tipped EarPod headphones (or sell them separately). Or it could throw in a Lightning-to-minijack adapter. And of course since Apple owns Beats we can expect some new wireless PowerBeats to arrive alongside iPhone 7.This change would allow the iPhone 7 to be the first model with true stereo sound.
A redesigned home button would be included in iPhone 7. A Force Touch home button. Apple would make it similar to the Force Click touch pad included on the latest model MacBooks.

Camera

Many sources are expecting a significant change in quality with the iPhone 7's camera. It appears to suggest that the new iPhone 7 models will have optical image stabilization capabilities. Some sources include that the dual camera would likely be included on the 5.5-inch-screen iPhone 7 Plus and/or Pro and probably not the standard 4.7-inch-screen iPhone 7.

Battery

Apple will upgrade the iPhone 7 battery to 1960 mAh from the iPhone 6s would go from 1715 mAh. That would give you extra 90 minutes on video playback time.

Storage

Another possible advantage of the new iPhone may be full waterproofing.

On the component front, an analyst firm has predicted that the iPhone 7 will support a whopping 256GB (Great! Isn’t it) of storage space and will get a memory boost to 3GB in the 5.5-inch model. iPhone 7 models will come with storage starting at 32GB.

iIPHONE 7 or 6SE whats the big update?

iIPHONE 7 or 6SE whats the big update?
With just a couple of days to go until we expect to lay eyes on the new iPhone 7. A new speculation circulating new photos showing the iPhone 6SE this week though their legitimacy is doubtful.

A new credible story appears which suggests that next lineup of iPhones could include three different variants a "4.7-inch model another that will be 5.5-inches and a premium handset that will be either larger than 5.5-inches equipped with a screen bent on the two sides." The first two phones would sport the traditional flat screen, while the third handset would adopt a curved display similar to the one used by Samsung for its premium phones, such as the Galaxy S7 Edge and the Galaxy Note 7.
Reports predicted that Apple would switch to OLED displays in 2018 so let’s see how it goes.

Expect Apple to officially announce the iPhone 7 during the first week of September, with a retail release following on September 16th or 23rd.
