This news surfaced when a keen-eyed Threads user stumbled upon a screenshot accidentally shared by a Threads employee. The screenshot revealed a numbered list of trending topics and the number of active discussions surrounding each item.

Unlike X, Threads’ Trends list doesn’t seem to categorize trends by topics like News and Sports. Additionally, it lacks a personalized trend list comparable to X’s “For You” section. Nevertheless, the potential addition of the Trends page would undoubtedly boost Threads’ competitiveness in the market.
