With the release of version 10.5.0, Telegram is giving voice and video talks a new look and feel. The delete animation has also been improved and is now available on Android.
Telegram is mostly used for messaging, but voice and video calls are also constructive, especially since they are encrypted from end to end. This new update from Telegram changes the user interface (UI) for voice and video calls to look better and include new graphics. The new UI also uses fewer resources, making the app faster.
Telegram explains:
In this update, we have totally redesigned calls, adding new animations and beautiful backgrounds that change dynamically based on the call’s status: ringing, active or ended. The new interface requires fewer resources than before, which means it saves battery life and works better on older devices.
The post also says that the quality of calls has gotten better and that more changes will be made in 2024.
Another change is that the new vaporized image first seen in the iOS version of Telegram is now coming to Android and will be used on both devices. It looks like the change, also known as the “Thanos Snap” effect, uses less energy.
Last but not least, this update makes bots even better. Bots can now respond to messages, work with quoted messages, send answers, and more.
Telegram 10.5.0 is almost ready to go live.
