LONDON: Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was banned for a match by the English Football Association after clashing with Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte following a tense match between them at Stamford Bridge. The two coaches shook hands after the 2-2 draw, but nerves broke out and collided before the players and staff of the two teams separated them. Referee Anthony Taylor fired the coaches after the fight. The FA said Tuchel had been provisionally suspended and the reasons for the decision would be published in followed by an independent committee. The German coach will also pay a fine of 35,000 pounds ($ 41,400), while Conte will be fined 15,000 pounds after both coaches admit of improper conduct. (Reuters)
