An unarmored sample of the Strela all-wheel drive vehicle was presented at the Army-2022 military-technical forum.
This was reported by the Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta. It is noteworthy that the six-speed gearbox in the all-wheel drive version is still manual.
However, a Chinese-made Foton engine with a capacity of 200 horsepower was installed at the Russian Yaroslavl Motor Plant. The unarmored all-wheel drive “Strela” is designed to transport personnel, including the sick and wounded, and officers at the level of a battalion, regiment, brigade and division, as well as towing trailers on all types of roads.
The weight of the four-wheel drive vehicle is 2600 kg, the load capacity is 900 kg, the width is 2350 mm, the length is 5090 mm, the height is 1995 mm, the ground clearance (distance between the bottom of the car and the road surface) is 270 mm, and the maximum speed is 130 km/h, which allows you to drive off-road at a distance of up to 700 km.
