The military-technical forum “Army-2022”, which will be held on August 19-21 in Yekaterinburg, will present a field dispensary for the first time.
This was reported by the press service of the Central Military District of the RF Armed Forces, which said that military doctors will be presented with a new generation field self-propelled hospital “AB-3”.
The field dispensary is designed to transport doctors and nurses to areas where fighting is taking place and where people are dying, as well as to provide first aid during hostilities.
The process of deploying a field medical institution in combat conditions takes at least one hour.
The press service of the Central Military District explained that the field hospital includes departments of surgery, dressing, evacuation and energy. His staff includes a doctor, two nurses and a driver. With regard to the supply of medical supplies, first aid was provided to 10 wounded in one hour.
The field clinic can operate uninterruptedly and autonomously during the day.
The press service indicated that the field medical complex is able to protect doctors and the wounded from bullets and shrapnel.
