The United Aircraft Corporation of Russia handed over a new batch of combat aircraft to the Ministry of Defense.
This batch included modernized Su-30SM2 fighters and Yak-130 combat training aircraft.
A representative of the Russian corporation Rostec, in which the united aircraft manufacturing enterprise participates, said that the combat capabilities of the Su-30SM2 fighters have increased significantly due to the modernization of the electronics adopted by the aircraft’s instruments. Also increased the range of detection and identification of air targets. The fighter was equipped with ultra-precise air-to-air, air-to-ground and air-to-water missiles capable of hitting air, ground and sea targets at a distance of several hundred kilometers.
As for the Yak-130 combat training aircraft, it is currently capable of providing pilots with basic high-quality training for flights on modern and promising combat aircraft of generations 4+ and 5. As for the Yak-130 aircraft, due to the presence of powerful electronics and special programs, it can simulate the behavior in the air of various types of aircraft, ranging from fighters to military transport aircraft.
