Two team Saudis from the Apple Women’s Developer Academy, based in Riyadh, have qualified to attend the Apple Camp for Entrepreneurs in California, which was held November 7-11.
The US Embassy in Riyadh, through its Twitter account, congratulated the two Saudi teams who qualified to join the “Apple” camp. “We extend our warmest congratulations to the two Saudi teams from # AppleWomen’s Developer Academy in Riyadh for qualifying for @ Apple Camp for Entrepreneurs in California, “he tweeted.
The first team nominated for the founders of the application (HOVER), which includes Arwa Al-Fraih, Tahani Al-Thaqafi, Somaya Al-Sharif, Butnaya Al-Bassam and Najat Ali qualified.
The Second Qualified Application Team (AWARE), consisting of Shatha Al-Enezi, Arwa Al-Khamis, Maha Al-Hathloul, Fai ‘Al-Shaiban, Razan bin Rashid and Noura Al-Salifeh, provides a service for people who want to get reliable reviews and advice on skin care products and determine their own care routine.
The field caters to applications created or co-created by participants, to work directly with Apple experts and engineers to help promote and accelerate application growth.
The academy is part of multiple initiatives launched to contribute to the achievement of the social and economic objectives of Vision 2030, in collaboration between Apple and Tuwaiq Academy.
Tuwaiq Academy is a partnership between the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones and Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, a first for Apple in Middle East and Africa.
Interestingly, the academy opened in June 2021, as part of a strategic cooperation with the Kingdom, and is the only one of its kind. in Middle East and North Africa and the first women’s academy in the world.
