Early Black Friday 2022: Best Black Friday Best Buy deals on Apple, Laptops, TVs, and More

Best Buy and Amazon have competed head-to-head during sales, and we expect Best Buy to offer discounts on TVs, smartphones, computers, iPads, and other tech. The electronics store’s early Black Friday sale started on Monday, October 24. The first round of discounts ended on Sunday, October 30, but there are still many ways to save. Members of My Best Buy and Totaltech can take advantage of special sales on Member Mondays until the end of December. This is in addition to the sales that are likely going on all the time. The Price Match Guarantee from Best Buy won’t work for purchases made between Friday, November 18, and Monday, November 28. But the electronics store will let people return most purchases made from October 24 to December 31, 2022, until January 14, 2023, except major appliances, holiday decorations, and some tech bought with a third-party contract. Best Buy has also said that its stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, just like Costco, Kohl’s, Target, and Walmart. However, we expect that there will be a lot of online sales on that day to keep you busy. Here are a few of the best deals we’ve seen so far.

Why we like it: Enough speed, memory, and storage space to do most of the things you need every day. The battery lasts for just over 14 hours. The keyboard is comfortable, the construction is solid, and the support is the best in the business. It has an Apple M1 processor, 8 GB of RAM, a 256 GB SSD, a 13.3-inch Retina display, one 3.5 mm jack, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Wyze Bulb Color Smart LED Light Bulb (2-pack) 

Street price: $27; Best Buy deal price: $20 with store pickup

Why we like it: This was the brightest and least expensive bulb we tried: excellent colors and dependable basics (remote, scheduling, and timers). There are no effects. Gives off the same amount of light as a 75-watt bulb. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are both supported. Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT are all supported.

TCL 5-Series Roku 55-inch TV (S555, 2022 model) 

Street price: $500; Best Buy deal price: $430

Why we like it:  Full-array LED backlighting with local dimming, quantum dots (for better color performance), HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. You can only get it with a Roku TV. The Game Studio Plus from TCL has good gaming features, but a 60 Hz refresh rate is not the best for gaming. Four HDMI 2.1 ports.

iOttie iTap 2 Magnetic Wireless Charging Air Vent-Mount 

Street price: $50; Best Buy deal price: $30 with store pickup

Why we like it:  This version of our favorite standard car phone mount lets you charge your phone wirelessly. Good choice if you want the ease and convenience of a magnetic car phone mount but don’t have an iPhone with MagSafe. It needs a strong magnet on the back of your phone or phone case. Choose store pickup to avoid paying for shipping.
