The Kalashnikov company began to supply the Russian troops with the latest small-sized drones.
This was announced on Wednesday, November 2, by company president Alan Lushnikov. He said: “We did not announce this before, but we began to supply our four-rotor helicopters to the Russian army. Our industry has a whole family of drones, and some of them are mass-produced, while others are still in the design stage, industrial production will begin in 2023. Among them are combat and reconnaissance drones, and we pay special attention to their production.”
It is noteworthy that the Russian attack drones “Lantsit” and “ZALA” (suicide bomber) are actively used by the Russian army as part of a special operation in Ukraine, striking military equipment and positions of Ukrainian forces.
As for unmanned helicopters, the ZALA family includes, for example, the new four-rotor model ZALA 421-24, which is characterized by ultra-low stealth in front of radars, is small, foldable, does not emit a roaring noise and can be launched from aircraft carriers.
The weight of the drone was 3.6 kilograms, and the drone flies at a distance of 3.5 kilometers and can stay in the air for more than 30 minutes.
