Russian specialists develop new technologies for the electronics industry

Specialists from Russia have registered a new patent related to the development of high-quality graphene structures for the electronics industry.

According to available information, specialists from the Russian Skoltech University managed to develop a method for creating new graphene structures that can be used in the development of transparent flexible electronics.

The press service of the university clarified: “The method developed by Skoltech specialists consists in the formation of temporary forms from graphene according to the shape of the device or product being developed, after which permanent forms from other materials are installed on these forms, and when the temporary layers are removed, the electronic part acquires its own form.” The final”.

For his part, university teacher Sergey Abimov said: “Russia has advanced technologies in the field of flexible and transparent electronics industry, and graphene has been used in many areas of the electronics industry in recent years, but the main problem was to obtain large sheets from this material without defects.” Or cracks. The new patent will effectively promote the development of electronics, especially those made from components developed in Russia.”
