Mark Zuckerberg, chief executive officer of Meta Platforms, unveiled the next generation of its Quest 3 mixed reality headset on Thursday, in how much he prepares himself for the possibility that Apple could shake up the rules of an emerging market hitherto dominated by the video giant social media.

Features of the Quest 3 Glasses

Zuckerberg stated in a post on Instagram that the glasses, which start at $499, will be 40 percent thinner than previous Meta glasses and feature a colorful display of mixed reality, which combines elements of augmented and virtual reality.
