WhatsApp Introduces Edit Message Feature

WhatsApp has given users one of its long-awaited features, which is the ability to edit messages.
“When you make a mistake or just change your mind, you can now edit your sent messages on WhatsApp,” the Mita-owned messaging app said on Monday in a post on the blog.
Editing Timeframe
As the feature rolls out globally over the next few weeks, the senders will be in able to edit their messages within 15 minutes of sending them.
This function can also be used by long pressing on the message and selecting “Edit” in the menu.
The edited message will be described as “edited”, without specifying which part was edited.
Competition
It is indicated that competing applications such as Telegram and Signal already allow users to edit messages.
Last year, Twitter even allowed microbloggers to edit tweets for a certain group of users.
