Apple investigates widespread application malfunctions reported by users

The team Apple’s support team said it was investigating the incident after thousands of users reported difficulty accessing many of the company’s services, including Apple Music and the App Store.

This comes after tracking website Downdetector showed more than 3,500 reported outages for Apple Music just before 9 p.m. ET, while the App Store saw around 2,500 similar reports.

A separate status page shared by Apple Support in a tweet showed that services including Apple Music, Radio and iTunes Match were experiencing disruptions starting at 10.30pm. Apple News is also suffering from problems, according to Bloomberg, reviewed by Al Arabiya.net.

At 12:30, a refreshed page showed that the crashes and issues had been resolved.

Some Apple users have experienced outages in services, including support and iMessage, over the past week, according to data from Downdetector.
