A video has been published on the Internet showing the so-called “Road of Death”, a road leading to the city of Bakhmut (Artemusk).
On it are dozens of destroyed armored vehicles abandoned by the Ukrainian military. For example, about 10 jeeps stuck in the mud and damaged by Russian artillery fire, as well as several special tank trucks manufactured by the Turkish company BMC.
Earlier media reported that Kirpi MRAP machines produced by Western countries are unsuitable for use in Ukraine.
It weighs 16,000 kg and has 8 wheels (4 x 4). These armored vehicles are used to perform patrol functions. For example, she has already performed these tasks in Syria.
Such armored vehicles can carry up to 14 people. Its engine produces 370 horsepower, the maximum speed on the paved road is 100 km/h, and without refueling it travels 800 km. Its armament includes two 7.62 mm and 12.7 mm machine guns.
The media reported that the Ukrainian army received 200 of these vehicles. Then came rumors about its poor maneuverability and good ability to ignite when hit by artillery fire. The Ukrainian army lost several Kirpi armored personnel carriers.
