The management of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir announced the display of “a unique artifact, which is a clay head of the pre-dynastic era, belonging to the civilization of Marmad Bani Salam, approximately 4800 BC.”
The management of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir added in a statement that “to the best of our knowledge, the head is one of the oldest artistic sculptures in the ancient Egyptian civilization.”
The head took on an oval shape, and here the artist deliberately shortened the facial features.
