The new multi-view function is an enhancement of the existing Picture-in-Picture split-screen mode. It enables users of Apple TV to stream up to four sports games at the same time on a screen that is divided into four quadrants. According to the information in the study, customers can choose which game’s volume they wish to hear by selecting it using the Siri Remote. To activate the feature, users will first choose the grid icon above the timeline bar and then click the “More Matches” option.

A month ago, Steve Moser was the one who uncovered the fact that the multi-view option existed, but up until that point, it had been concealed within the code. Only Major League Baseball and Major League Soccer games that Apple streams through its TV app are eligible for this feature. Currently, only those two leagues are supported. Apple has not yet made a public statement regarding when the multi-view feature will be accessible to the general market. tvOS 16.5 will still be available for download within the next month or two.
