Specialists of the Russian Military Academy of Logistics have developed a multifunctional robot capable of conducting technical reconnaissance, demining, evacuating the wounded, loading and launching drones.
Rospatent indicates that, according to the designers, this robot is a lightweight unmanned platform made of Kevlar fiber with a manipulator, a machine gun, a smoke system, a drone from a retractable platform, a device for charging it, a locator and a mine detection system. The main stated functions of the robot include reconnaissance of weapons and terrain, repair work and evacuation of the wounded.
As conceived by the designers, this robot will work as follows: the operator uses drones for reconnaissance, during which the coordinates of idle combat vehicles and mining sites are determined, and then sets the robot a safe path that can be controlled remotely. or move on your own.
As for drones, their batteries are continuously charged after landing on the robot through magnetic contact points scattered on the surface of the platform and legs of the drone.
