Twitter.. Musk has ordered the removal of some security features from the site

Twitter has in recent days removed a feature that promoted suicide prevention hotlines and other safety resources for users looking for specific content, according to two people familiar with the matter who said it was ordered by new owner Elon Musk.

The removal of the feature, known as #ThereIsHelp, was not previously reported as contacts from support organizations in different countries related to mental health, HIV, vaccines, child abuse, natural disasters and freedom of expression were shown in on top of specific searches. .

The concerns of some users

Deleting the feature could increase welfare concerns for vulnerable Twitter users. Musk said impressions, or views, of harmful content are in decline since he took over Twitter in October, according to the Deccan Herald.

He posted graphs on Twitter showing a downward trend, although researchers and civil rights groups have seen an increase in tweets containing racial slurs and other hateful content.
