It has been confined to the Web for years. YouTube rolls out a new feature for phones

Video sharing service YouTube recently began testing the “Add to later content list” feature. queueFor Android and iOS mobile users.

YouTube has provided this feature to users of the version web of its platform for years and has also provided it to the YouTube application on mobile devices in specific circumstances, such as controlling Chromecast devices using phones.

And now YouTube has begun testing the feature with subscribers of the paid “Premium” version who choose to agree to try out the experimental features, and it allows them to add videos to a list to watch together.

After activating the feature, users will see, by clicking on the three dots that appear at the bottom of each video next to the title, a new option: “Play the last video in the next content list”. last in queueBy clicking on it, the video is added in bottom of the list or a new list is created if the user is not watching a video.

After each video in the list finishes, YouTube plays the next one until they’re all finished. The feature also allows you to rearrange the clips in the list or delete them. The entire list can be deleted by exiting the YouTube app or by clicking the Close x button in the bar in low.

And if you’re a paid YouTube subscriber and don’t see the new feature, you can turn it on by clicking your profile picture in the corner in top right, then going to Settings, then try new features, then scroll down to “Next Content List” feature. You put in queue, then try.

According to the settings screen, the test of features will remain available until January 28.

Interestingly, the paid YouTube service “YouTube Premium”, available for about $ 12 per month, offers subscribers many features, such as: watching without ads, watching in background, download videos to watch without the Internet, as well as access the music service YouTube Music Premium”.

The feature also allows users to choose to try out features before they are released to the public in general.
