Russia is testing a missile frigate, which will soon enter service with the Pacific Fleet

The press service of the United Shipbuilding Corporation of Russia announced the start of the stage of state testing of a new missile ship being developed for the Pacific Fleet of the Ground Forces.

“Recently, the first stage of state tests of the Rezkiy missile ship, which is being built as part of the state project 20380 for the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Army, has begun,” the ministry said in a statement.

The statement added: “During the tests, which will be carried out at sea, the kinetic capabilities of the ship, the helicopter landing pads on board, weapons systems, the operation of the radars and sonar devices that it has acquired for detection will be tested. hostile targets underwater.”

And the Rizki is the fourth ship developed by Russia as part of the state project 20380 in the interests of the Pacific Fleet in its army, and she began work on its development in 2016, and first launched it in 2021.

This ship has a length of 100 m, a displacement of 2220 tons and can travel 4000 miles per flight, in addition, it is armed with Russian anti-ship missiles “Uranus”, “Redut” anti-ship missile systems, and “Pantsir” missile defense systems. for ships, and large-caliber 100 mm cannons, light and medium machine guns, launch systems for anti-ship and anti-submarine torpedoes, as well as equipped platforms for transporting multi-purpose helicopters.
