Scientists from the Baltic State Technical University of Russia have proposed an algorithm for a massive attack on a target using various types of drones.
The scientists formulated their proposals in a report presented by them at the 17th Academic Space Symposium in Korolev, where they indicated a scenario in which a target would be bombed simultaneously by a swarm of drones of different types at different distances from it. They said that this reduces the likelihood that the aforementioned target will successfully respond to an attack.
In this case, it is recommended to use a simple algorithm based on data from most of the routers involved in the attack.
Scientists divided the process into two stages. The first stage requires achieving equality in measuring characteristics related to the relative distance to the target and the angle between the drone’s speed radius and the line of sight to the target.
In the second stage, each drone independently aims at the target using a 3D control algorithm that generates movement and acceleration signals corresponding to the angular velocity and control line.
Unlike the classic 3D proportional guidance algorithm, the new algorithm proposed by scientists takes into account the angular positions of the drones relative to the target, providing less time and acceleration of the target to intercept, and also reduces the pressure on the drone in the final. stage of her pursuit.
