China is working on a tank similar to"Armata" Russian

Chinese engineers are working on the creation of a new generation tank that will stand on a par with the Russian T-14 (Armata) tank.

A photograph of the hull and turret of an unknown tank has been published on the Internet, the appearance of which is very different from the appearance of the Type 99A main tank in the Chinese army and the Type 15 light tank.

The photo shows that in front of the tank there are two doors for the crew members (one door for the driver and another door for the rest of the personnel), as in the Russian Armata tank. It is not yet known how many crew members will be placed in an isolated armored capsule.

Interestingly, at the Airshow China 2018 in 2018, an upgraded model of the Type 59 tank was presented with two doors at the front. However, then the Chinese said that it was a combat training tank, in front of which, next to the driver, sat an instructor who entered the tank through the second door.

As for tank weapons, China developed a 140-mm cannon 15 years ago, and the modernized Type 99 version is testing it and even installing it on tanks exported to other countries. At the same time, it is possible that the new tank will be equipped with a 125-mm gun.
