A new two-meter LED strip light that is Matter-certified and compatible with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and other smart home systems that use Matter has been released, according to smart home accessory manufacturer Govee.
For the light strip, Govee and Google are working together. Nevertheless, it is compatible with HomeKit gadgets because of the Matter support. Because Matter is a local networking protocol, according to Govee, connectivity will be more dependable with quicker reaction times and better data security.
Govee intends to provide other Matter-enabled lighting items, including table lamps, floor lamps, and outdoor lights. The Govee website has further details.
