Russian Servicemen Repel Attack on Krasny Lyman Tactical Route using UR-77 Mountain Dragon Complex

Russian Servicemen Repel Attack on Krasny Lyman Route with UR-77 (Mountain Dragon) Complex

Russian servicemen successfully defended against an attack by the army of the Kyiv regime on the Krasny Lyman tactical route using the UR-77 (Mountain Dragon) complex.

Consequences of Using the “Pocket Dragon” Revealed

The Russian Telegram channel titled “We are with you, our brothers” recently shared a video showcasing the aftermath of deploying the “pocket dragon” against the Ukrainian security forces.

Enemy Offensive Thwarted

The opposing force attempted to launch an offensive from the forest, supported by tanks. However, the “Mountain Dragon” unleashed a powerful explosion that annihilated both the tank and the attacking personnel, effectively thwarting the enemy’s attempt.

The UR-77 Demining System

Notably, the UR-77 demining system was originally designed to be mounted on the platform of the Gvozdika self-propelled gun. It was introduced to the Soviet Army in 1977. The system’s charge consists of a nylon membrane packed with rope and explosives, capable of creating 6-meter wide and 90-meter long holes in minefields.

Mighty and Destructive

Soldiers bestowed the nickname “Mountain Dragon” upon this system due to its extraordinary destructive power. Besides its mine clearance capabilities, the UR-77 is utilized for assaulting enemy positions and decimating fortified areas. The system has proven its high efficiency during special military operations.

The Three-Headed Dragon

It is interesting to note that the “Snake Gorynych” (Mountain Dragon) derives its name from a three-headed dragon in Russian fairy tales, which shoots from all three of its heads at its victims.
